Famous across the Canadian Prairies as a professional magician of the highest caliber, long serving member of the International Brotherhood of Magician, and champion of young magicians learning the arts and craft of magic that he loved so dearly.
The Everett Andrews Magic Legacy has received, as a donation from the family, what remains of Everett’s impressive magic collection. The families wish is that the collection of professional props and library be given new homes, to magicians who will give the props a new life in entertainment.
All proceeds from the sale of the collection will be used to promote and advance opportunities and training for young magicians. Current goals of the Everett Andrews Legacy Fund include:
- To establish an annual showcase or competition for junior magicians in the Calgary area.
- To help offset costs of props for students of the Junior Magic Club coordinated by the Calgary Magic Circle.
The sale of Everett’s magic collection, and management of the Legacy Fund is under the care of Yeats Wong and Ryan Pilling, with direct oversight by Everett’s eldest son David, and Everett’s nephew Glen.
The magic collection sale will be beginning soon. Items will be posted on this website in an auction style listing, with new items added throughout the coming months.
